David Guetta & Friends returns to Pacha on Thursday October 4 for the final instalment of the 2018 residency. It is a summer, much like many of the last decade, where clubbers from all over the world have flocked to the twin cherries for their annual fix of high powered vocals, roof raising basslines and hands-in-the-air moments, in the company of some of the most famous of the international acts that ply their trade in the clubbing capital. With one last chance to enjoy the electric atmosphere, this one promises to be BIG!
Thursday night in Pacha Ibiza has, for as long as we can remember, delivered a roadblock on a weekly basis, it’s further evidence, as if any were needed, that David Guetta is one of, if not THE attraction in the commercial clubbing world. The French DJ/producer turned remixer and global popstar long outgrew his normal DJ status as he delivered hit after hit on the global stage, infiltrating commercial charts, advertisements and movies with his unique brand of uplifting dance music. Translate that to a weekly Ibiza party and the result is the queue that regularly snakes along the famous boulevard. Joining David Guetta for the closing party is Robin Schulz and J Candela, two artists that have been omnipresent throughout the recent years, making a huge contribution to one of the island’s biggest parties.
FMIF exploded into life on May 31 and has pretty much steamed along ever since. David Guetta has shared the booth with a selection of the world’s most prominent dance music producers, many of who have enjoyed a similar level of crossover success. Thursday night in Pacha is not about dark and moody beats, black Tee’s and nodding heads; this is a colourful party, one that will lift you off your feet in the breakdowns, ne that you will feel compelled to get involved and where you will meet clubbers from all over the world. The finale promises to be one of the season highlights as three artists, each acutely aware of what it takes to smash the Ibiza dancefloor, combine for one last time.
